https://ejurnal.uij.ac.id/index.php/EDU/article/view/3371

This study investigates the use of Chat-GPT to enhance descriptive writing skills in higher education. The research involved students utilizing Chat-GPT to support their writing process, leading to a significant improvement in their work. The mean score for descriptive writing increased from 64 to 85.5, marking a 33.6% enhancement. The analysis revealed that Chat-GPT effectively improved sensory detail, clarity, and cohesion while boosting students' enthusiasm for writing. Successful implementation relied on careful integration with structured guidance. While individual responses varied, using Chat-GPT as a complement to traditional methods yielded the best outcomes. The findings indicate that when implemented properly, Chat-GPT can serve as an effective tool for developing students' descriptive writing skills. However, its success is contingent upon thoughtful integration and adjustment to individual needs. This research paves the way for further exploration into the role of AI in education, particularly in cultivating academic writing skills.
Luluk Lailatun NajahImam Ghozali

The eight-week intervention included mindful breathing, meditation, dzikir, and reflective discussions. Results showed a significant increase in the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) scores for the treatment group from 45.2 to 61.8 (p < 0.001), while no significant change was observed in the control group (p = 0.47). Qualitative findings supported the program's effectiveness in emotion regulation and strengthening spirituality. This program holds potential for adaptation in various cultural and religious communities.
Khoirun Nisa

This study evaluates the impact of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum on the well-being of elementary school students in Jember Regency participating in the Program Sekolah Penggerak (PSP), with self-confidence as a mediator. A quantitative survey method was employed, involving students from grades 4 to 6, with data analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum significantly enhances student well-being (β = 0.45, p < 0.001), and self-confidence acts as a significant mediator in this relationship (β = 0.35, p < 0.01). These results highlight the importance of psychological factors, such as self-confidence, in optimizing the effectiveness of educational policy implementation. Aligning with self-determination theory, the study shows that autonomy and support in learning environments contribute to intrinsic motivation and student well-being. This study underscores the necessity for teacher training programs that integrate strategies to foster student self-confidence, ensuring more impactful outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum. Future research should adopt qualitative methods and broader geographical scopes to validate these findings
Eny Fitriatin
