Pemberdayaan dan Fasilitasi Kepengurusan Pensiun di Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Jawa Timur

Pension programs are a crucial aspect in ensuring employee welfare after their employment ends. The policy transition from the Defined Benefit Pension Program (PPMP) to the Defined Contribution Pension Program (PPIP) within the East Java Regional Division of Perum Perhutani often presents administrative, financial, and psychological challenges for employees. Numerous regulations and low financial literacy make it difficult for some employees to understand the mechanisms and policy changes. This Community Service activity was created to empower and facilitate employees and retirees in the pension management process through a participatory and educational approach. The methods used were outreach and open discussions with resource persons directly from the Perhutani Pension Fund (DAPEN). The results of this activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the program transition mechanisms, increased financial literacy, and increased self-confidence and preparedness for retirement. This program is expected to become an empowerment model that can be adapted by other state-owned enterprises to support the successful implementation of pension policies based on transparency and sustainable welfare.
