Aplikasi Pupuk Organik Cair Jakaba dan Pupuk NPK Mutiara Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Tomat (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.)

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) is a high-value horticultural crop whose productivity remains unstable due to suboptimal nutrient management. Combining inorganic fertilizer with biofertilizer, such as JAKABA (Jamur Keberuntungan Abadi), has the potential to improve fertilizer efficiency while maintaining soil fertility. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of combining NPK Mutiara fertilizer and JAKABA on the growth and yield of tomato plants and to determine the optimum fertilizer combination. The experiment was conducted using a single-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with six treatments and four replications. The treatments consisted of P0 (control), P1 (10 g NPK Mutiara/polybag), P2 (20 mL JAKABA + 2 g NPK Mutiara/polybag), P3 (20 mL JAKABA + 4 g NPK Mutiara/polybag), P4 (20 mL JAKABA + 8 g NPK Mutiara/polybag), and P5 (20 mL JAKABA + 10 g NPK Mutiara/polybag). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significance level. The results showed that the combined application of JAKABA and NPK Mutiara had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, fruit weight, or fruit diameter, but significantly affected flowering time and fruit number at 84 days after planting. Treatment P3 (20 mL JAKABA + 4 g NPK Mutiara/polybag) produced the highest fruit number (5.75 fruits per plant) and promoted earlier flowering. Therefore, this combination can be considered an efficient and environmentally friendly fertilization strategy for tomato cultivation.
