Merancang Pembelajaran Kontekstual pada Materi Pemodelan Matematika Melalui Lesson Study

This research is action research that is deliberately designed and focused on changing practices,improving practices, reflecting on, and making adjustments in learning practices. Action research uses the Lesson study concept as a teacher professional development strategy. There are 4 stages of lesson study in this study, namely study, plan, do, and reflect. The participants in this study were 1 LPTK lecturer, 4 partner teachers, 1 school principal, 2 cameramen, and 30 students from grade 11 science 2 at SMAN 4 Ternate city. The instruments used were observation sheets and student worksheets. The data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results showed that in the reflection stage of the lesson study, the observers expressed improvements that could be made at the next meeting. Then the results of the analysis of student work in determining the mathematical model are that there are still errors in understanding problems in everyday life.
