Mengurangi Perilaku Phubbing Melalui Konseling Kelompok dengan Metode Brainstorming

This research is to find out whether group counseling
using the brainstorming method can reduce the
phubbing behavior of class VIII A students at SMPN 2
Gending.
This research uses Guidance and Counseling Action
Research (PTBK) carried out in two cycles, then
carried out according to the Hopkins model design.
The population in the research was class VIII A students at SMPN 2 Gending with a total of 32
students with a sample of 5 students with a high level
of phubbing behavior. Data analysis is qualitative with
flow analysis models (Flow Analysis Models).
Based on the results of pre-cycle data, class VIII A
students had high phubbing behavior, therefore group
counseling was carried out using the brainstorming
method. After being provided with group counseling
services, the results from cycle I showed that the
percentage obtained (78%) was included in the high
phubbing behavior category, while in cycle II the
percentage obtained was (46%) and included in the
low phubbing category. So it can be concluded that
group counseling services using the brainstorming
method can reduce phubbing behavior in class VIII A
students at SMPN 2 Gending. This decline can be
seen from the initial conditions, namely pre-cycle,
cycle I and II.
