Learning motivation is an important factor in successful learning, yet reflective learning activities remain relatively limited at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. This study aimed to analyze changes in students’ learning motivation following reflective learning activities through Little Thinker Journaling. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed, involving 30 students. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk test, Paired Sample t-Test, and N-Gain. The results showed an increase in the mean learning motivation score from 59.70 on the pretest to 66.43 on the posttest, with a significant difference (p < 0.05). However, the N-Gain score of 0.1638 indicated a low level of improvement. These findings indicate a change in learning motivation following the reflective learning activities through Little Thinker Journaling, although the improvement remained limited. Because the study involved a single group without a control group, the observed change cannot be fully attributed to the activities provided.
