Abstract

Education is expected to be a good community personality forming agent and full of responsibility through the role of BK teachers. In the process of implementation, education is faced with the complexity of problems, one of which is related to the lack of availability of BK teachers. So that this kind of condition forces in many schools / madrasahs still make PAI teachers as BK teachers and will eventually cause problems. This research is a library research in digging and getting an overview of the problems of PAI teachers as counselors in order to optimize BK services in schools. The problems experienced come from internal and external factors. Internal problems include perception and understanding considering that BK services are not the work of PAI teachers, BK services are considered as additional tasks, the lack of knowledge of PAI teachers in mastering the field of BK science. External problems include the lack of understanding of parents towards BK services, BK Services are only complementary as if it can be done by anyone, BK teachers are considered school police so that learners feel afraid of BK teachers.
