Peer Review Process

Jurnal Rechtens employs a peer-review process involving at least one reviewer who possesses the expertise and competence relevant to the article's subject matter. Every submitted article undergoes an initial screening by an editor to ensure it aligns with the journal’s focus, scope, and submission guidelines.

Articles that meet these requirements are then sent to a reviewer for an objective and independent assessment. The reviewer evaluates the article based on its substance, originality, novelty, methodology, depth of analysis, and scientific contribution.

The reviewer’s assessment serves as a basis for the editor’s publication decision, which may fall into one of the following categories:

1. Accept: The article is accepted without revisions.
2. Minor Revision: The article is accepted subject to minor revisions.
3. Major Revision: The article requires substantial revisions.
4. Reject: The article is rejected for failing to meet the journal’s publication standards.

If necessary, the editor may request that the reviewer re-evaluate a revised article before a final decision is reached.

The review process is conducted in accordance with the principles of objectivity, confidentiality, and independence, and is free from conflicts of interest, in order to uphold the quality and integrity of scientific publication.
