Publication Ethics
Manuscript Publication Ethics
We are fully committed to uphold the highest standards of publication ethics. We also work hard to ensure that the content we publish is ethically sound. This is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Therefore, it is crucially important to reach the ethical standards that are expected for all individuals or organizations involved in the publication of the manuscript such as authors, editors, reviewers, publishers, and the society. The Faculty of Law of the Islamic University of Jember as the publisher and the Rechtens Journal Editorial Board carry out all stages of publishing and acknowledge the ethical behavior and other responsibilities.
Publication Decision
The responsibility for selecting manuscripts for publication rests with the Editorial Board of the Rechtens Journal. The Editor's decisions are influenced by the guidelines set forth by the Editorial Council and are subject to prevailing legal mandates concerning issues like defamation, copyright violations, and plagiarism. Negotiation among editors and reviewers is a possibility during the decision-making process regarding publication.
Principle of Justice
The Rechtens Journal Editorial Board evaluates manuscripts regardless of the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, citizenship, politics or ideology.
confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not provide any information about the script to anybody other than the authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisors, and relevant publishers, where appropriate.
Standard Reporting
The manuscript's authors must present reliable data about their research. The manuscript should include sufficient reference allowing others to cite. Statements or argumentation that are intentionally fraudulent are unethical and unacceptable.
Data Access and Storage
We asked the authors to provide raw data in their manuscripts for editorial review, and must provide an open access to the data.
Multiple Publication
The manuscript must be submitted for first publication in the journal, must not being considered for publication elsewhere, and has not been published elsewhere.
Source Acknowledgment
Citation of other people's work should always be done. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the work reported.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose in their manuscript any substantive conflict that could potentially lead to different interpretations and affect the outcome or interpretation of their text. All supporting sources in research must be disclosed.
