Hubungan Lingkungan Keluarga dengan Karakter Siswa Kelas Tinggi SDN 162 Poleonro Kabupaten Bone

Abstract

This research is a type of symmetrical design correlation research that aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between family environment and the character of high-grade students at SDN 162 Poleonro, Lamuru District, Bone Regency. The population in this study were all high school students at SDN 162 Poleonro with a saturated sample of 41 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with four options. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistics showed that the family environment obtained an average score of 62.29% in the medium category. In comparison, the student character received an average score of 66.76% in the medium category. The results of inferential statistics showed count> tables (0.430 > 0.308) at a significance level of 5%. Thus H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The consequence is that there is a significant relationship between family environment and the character of high-class students at SDN 162 Poleonro, Lamuru District, Bone Regency, which is classified as moderate. Thus, it can be concluded that the better the family environment, the better the students' character.
