About the Journal
JURNAL BIOSHELL is a scientific journal of the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Jember, which has been registered with the ISSN number 2301-4105 (print) and ISSN 2623-0321 (online). JURNAL BIOSHELL is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal published once a year, namely in May. The scope of the Bioshell Journal is focused on research / review of biology education, Biology, and Science Learning.
JURNAL BIOSHELL aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, providing information, ideas and opinions, in addition to critical examinations of progress in research, teaching, learning of biology, Biology, and Natural Science Education. Through policy coverage and curriculum development, the latest research results on biology teaching, learning and assessment are put forward. JURNAL BIOSHELL published articles from academics, practitioners, and researchers. JURNAL BIOSHELL accepts and publishes articles in the form of research and studies (scientific articles) in the fields of biology education, Biology, and Natural Science Education. All articles are published in Indonesian or English with a peer-review process.
Since Volume 8, we have increased the frequency of publication to twice a year. JURNAL BIOSHELL publications are published in April and October. Starting from volume 8, we have made changes to the management side of the journal management which includes updating the JURNAL BIOSHELL editorial team. In Volume 11 No. 1, which is April 2022, the JURNAL BIOSHELL Template has changed as well as the publishing model. Previously, all articles were published every 25th in April and October. Currently, it has changed to being published in April and October. In addition, the JURNAL BIOSHELL also accepts articles in English or Indonesian.
