JURNAL BIOSHELL publishes products from Biology Education, Biological Science and Natural Science Education, and for the people community who need to improve their lives through sharing knowledge between academics and is open to all groups (academics, scholars and students).
Biology and Natural Science Education includes learning models, learning assessments, learning media, learning tools and curriculum. Biology Sience includes taxonomy, morphology, physiology, genetics, ecology, evolution, biotechnology, molecular cell biology, microbiology, anatomy and embryology. Since October 2024, this journal has been Accredited with grade "SINTA 4" by Director decree of the Direktorat Jendral Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset dan Teknologi, Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) (177/E/KPT/2024) as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication. Accreditation is valid for 5 years from Volume 12 Issue 1 of 2023 to Volume 17 Issue 2 of 2027.

JURNAL BIOSHELL is a scientific journal of the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Jember which has been registered with the numbers ISSN 2301-4105 (print) and ISSN 2623-0321 (online).  The scope of the JURNAL BIOSHELL is focused on research or literature reviews on biology education, biological science and natural science education. This issue has been available online since December 04, 2024, for the regular issue of April 2025. There are 17 research articles in this issue.
