Abstract

Lingkungan memiliki peran penting bagi kesehatan anak. Tingginya tingkat pencemaran logam berat di lingkungan seperti Pb dan Cu dapat terpapar kepada anak-anak dan memiliki efek toksik yang berbahaya salah satunya adalah menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan antara kadar unsur logam berat timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu) terhadap kejadian stunting. Sampel penelitian ini adalah rambut dengan metode sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive random sampling dan design cross sectional. Analisis data menggunakan uji non paramertik Mann Whitney test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai p value < 0,05 artinya ada hubungan antara konsentrari logam berat Pb dan Cu pada rambut. Kelompok anak stunting memiliki konsentrasi logam berat Pb dan Cu yang lebih tinggi pada rambut mereka.
