THE EFFECT OF SINGING METHOD TO THE TONE OF THE OJO SONG IN COMPARED TO ENGLISH VOCABULARY MASTERY

Abstract

This research aims to find out the ability of English vocabulary and the extent to which English vocabulary can be improved using the method of singing with the song "Ojo Dibandingke" 4 in Mi Darul Ulum As Surur Cumedak Sumberjambe Jember.

The research method used is a quantitative research method. This research is a population study because the population is less than 100. And to answer the existing problem formulation and test the hypotheses that have been proposed, the method of data collection is done by using a questionnaire given to students and taking the scores for the Odd Semester and Even Semester Deuteronomy, students at MI. Darul Ulum As Surur Sumberjambe Jember. In this research data analysis technique uses product moment correlation techniques and simple linear regression

with SPSS 24 tools.

From the results of the calculation of the product moment correlation coefficient test of 0.764 which shows that the value of Rcount is greater than Rtable (0.764 > 0.444), so that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant relationship between the usual method and the singing method in memorizing vocabulary on the results of students' odd and even semester tests. Then Rcount is smaller than the Rtable price (0.265 <0.444), so Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. This means that there is no significant relationship between the usual method and the singing method in composing sentences on the results of students' odd and even semester tests.
