Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Educazione : Jurnal Pendidikan, Pembelajaran, dan Bimbingan dan Konseling upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and expects all submitted manuscripts to be original works, free from any form of plagiarism.

  1. Originality and Exclusivity
    All manuscripts submitted must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
    Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality of their submissions.
    By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that their work does not contain any plagiarized material and has not been published previously in any form or language (partially or in full).
  1. Plagiarism Screening
    Every submitted manuscript will be screened for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin).
    The maximum allowable similarity index is 20%. 
    Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be immediately returned to the author(s) for revision or rejection.
  1. Types of Plagiarism
    The following actions are considered forms of plagiarism:
    Direct plagiarism: Copying text word-for-word from another source without proper citation.
    Self-plagiarism: Reusing one's own previously published work without acknowledgment.
    Mosaic plagiarism: Borrowing phrases from a source without quotation marks or rewriting someone else's content while keeping the structure intact without attribution.
    Accidental plagiarism: Unintentionally failing to cite sources, paraphrasing poorly, or forgetting to include references.
  1. Consequences of Plagiarism
    If plagiarism is detected during the review process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.
    If plagiarism is found after publication, the article will be retracted and a retraction notice will be published in the journal.
    Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be subject to temporary or permanent banning from future submissions to Educazione Journal.
  1. Preventive Actions
    Authors are encouraged to check the originality of their manuscripts using reliable plagiarism detection tools before submission.
    Proper citations and referencing must be provided for all sourced material, in accordance with academic standards.
