Penerapan Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model. The type of research used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). Methods of data collection using tests. The sample used was class VIIIB MTs Zainul Fauzi Kendit Situbondo, which consisted of 18 students. The results of the pre-cycle interviews showed that the classical completeness was only 44%. The learning outcomes after implementing CTL learning in cycle 1 obtained a classical completeness score of 83%. Learning outcomes in cycle 2 get a classical percentage value of 88%. The value of learning outcomes obtained is greater than 75% so that it meets the expected success target. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the application of the CTL learning model to the Excretion System material can improve the learning outcomes of class VIIIB students at MTs Zainul Fauzi Kendit Situbondo.
