Hybrid Regression Logistic Ordinal and Correspondence Analysis to Determine the Professionalism of Teacher in 10 Junior High School of Jember
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know IPG in SMP Negeri 10 Jember; and to know the relation between IPG value as professional teacher's measure with the level of discipline, age, gender, teaching length, education level, employment status and subject type. This research is classified as correlational research with quantitative approach. The data source is 105 students of class VIII in SMP Negeri 10 Jember. The data collecting methods is questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis includes validity, reliability, ordinal logistic regression, and correspondence analysis. Based on the results of research obtained showed that 4 out of 7 teachers who become research subjects have a value of IPG with good criteria and the remaining 3 have enough criteria, where no one has IPG with less criterion. Then based on the results of ordinal logistic regression that has been analyzed it can be said there is no relationship between the value of IPG as a professional teacher measurement with the level of discipline, age, gender, teaching length, education level, employment status and type of subjects.
