ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of soaking Adenanthera pavonina L with various concentrations of coconut water to improve the quality of germinated seeds and determine the best concentration of soaking Adenanthera pavonina in coconut water to maintain the quality of germinated seeds. The research method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely 1 control and 5 repetitions. The treatments consisted of: K0 = saga seeds without soaking coconut water; K1 = soaking saga seeds in 10% concentration coconut water; K2 = soaking saga seeds in 20% concentration coconut water; K3 = soaking saga seeds in 30% concentration coconut water; and K4 = soaking saga seeds in 40% concentration coconut water. The study showed that soaking Adenanthera pavonina seeds in 10% coconut water had a significant effect on the height of seed germination (3.36 cm) and soaking Adenanthera pavonina seeds in coconut water had no significant difference on seed germination power and seed germination time.
